How does the SCS / ICS save lives?

By continuously scanning the road and predicting traffic accidents moments before they happen, the SCS can save countless lives every year and make modern cities feel safer for everyone.

What's V2X?

V2X or “vehicle-to-everything” represents an emerging technology that allows cars, infrastructure, traffic signals, and more to interconnect and share data (in a private & localized way) with the purpose of increasing road safety, efficiency, and energy savings.

V2X is an umbrella term for V2I (Vehicle to Infrastructure), V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle), V2N (Vehicle-to-Network) and V2P (Vehicle-to-Pedestrian).

How could the ICS make traffic move faster?

By switching the traffic lights only as needed, as oppose to waiting at red lights unnecessarily. The ICS waits for the perfect moment in order to balance pedestrian, vehicular, and other traffic in the most efficient way possible using AI neural networks.

Is this going to affect my daily driving experience?

Once installed, the ICS changes traffic signals right out of the box, speeding up your commute and protecting you from unexpected traffic situations.

However, only V2X capable vehicles will be able to take full advantage of the full suite of features we offer. This includes full awareness of the vehicles and pedestrians around you, which will be sent wirelessly from the ICS to your vehicle. As well as a fully featured general and safety notification system that works directly with your car.

Car manufacturers are currently rolling out V2X enabled vehicles and have been since 2020. Older vehicles will require the installation of an OSB (Onboard Unit) to facilitate wireless communications on the correct frequency that powers V2X.

Our system will notify V2X enabled vehicles of the presence of none-V2X enabled vehicles.

What does the ICS/SCS look like?

The WiseGuard Smart Crosswalk Sign (SCS) and Intelligent Crossing Signal (ICS) are both a single device that looks like your average security camera, but is packed with features from the future. It sets up in 15 minutes, is equipped with multiple AI tracking and predictive systems, and is designed to save lives by alerting cars and pedestrians.

What's the difference between the ICS & SCS?

They're very similar, with some crucial differences outlined below.

The SCS is specifically designed to direct traffic at an intersection or junction without traffic lights. It uses bright LED's that can be installed anywhere to notify vehicles and pedestrians.

The ICS is specifically designed to direct traffic at an intersection or junction with existing traffic lights. It works by connecting directly to the existing Traffic Light Control system to enable the modulation of the lights (red/green light, pedestrian walking signals, etc.) according to traffic conditions in the most efficient way possible.

Both include wireless V2X communications that can send alerts to a V2X enabled vehicle.
